new blog installation not working

Hey folks,

I just installed a new copy of WP in an alternate directory on my site, and I am getting the following errors when trying to login the first time:

I already have a WP blog in my root directory. But, I have installed more than one blog in the past on other servers and have never had a problem. Have any ideas?
