   I just transferred my blog from wp.com to wp.org and I am noticing an issue with the gallery. It is showing the gallery not as nicely organized little thumbnails with captions, but large pictures overlapping each other in a big mess.

   Has anyone else come across this? I am hoping to be able to use wp.org gallery, not an additional plugin.

   It means that the CSS to style the gallery isn't in your stylesheet properly. Check it to make sure that it is, compared to the styles in your old Theme.

   If it's loading the full size images, it's a problem that has been reported by numerous wordpress user, but is still left unanswered by any official personnel from WordPress.
