Never ending page on my website

I have one almost neverending page as the first page on my website, it is causing google adsense adds to drop off because they are buried so deep on that first page, how do I avoid this? How can I arrange archived articles so that when someone clicks on them it takes them to a different page. All help is greatly appreciated.
