• Hi All,

I’m having some serious issues with the Network Solutions/WP relationship. Here’s what’s going on:

–I’m trying to set-up my parents’ website. I have my domain pointed to my WP hosting package, but it goes to a “under construction” page. I tried to edit the DNS so that it points to WP servers, and that didnt work. I still get an “under construction” page.
–When I log into WordPress, the URL is xxx.netsolhost.com. When I publish a page, it’s xxx.netsolhost.com/about, but I want it to be thesupporteconomy.com/about.

How do I fix these issues? I’ve been working on this for days, and I have no idea what is going on. I’ve never had this much trouble with WP. If anyone can help me, I will be eternally grateful.

Furthermore, when I click “login to wordpress” through my network solutions account, is gives me a 404. I tried reinstalling WP, and that didnt fix the problem. Help me please.

    DNS propagation takes 24-72 hours.

My domain name is pointed to the WordPress Hosting Package, and in the past it’s taken ~15 minutes to work.

Even still, I should be able to log-in to the Dashboard through the xxx.netsolhost.com/wp-login.php, correct? I get this message:

    “404: Page not found
This error is generated when there was no web page with the name you specified at the web site.

    Troubleshooting suggestions:

Ensure the page you are linking to exists in the correct folder.

Check your file name for case sensitivity . Index.htm is not the same as index.htm!

Temporarily disable any rewrite rules by renaming your .htaccess file if it exists.”

Just figured out how to login.

    Now my problems are:

    1) if I point my domain name to the wordpress hosting package, it goes to an “under construction” page.
    2) When I publish a page, it’s xxx.netsolhost.com/about, but I want it to be thesupporteconomy.com/about.

    Any help very much appreciated.
