Need WordPress with MS-SQL

    Hello WP experts,

    I am using a ecommerce store that is on IIS server, where I am using MS SQL server and now I want to integrate/setup my worpress blog in windows server with MS-SQL Database.
    Please suggest me, if anyone have any option to do that.

    Necessary Requirement: We have to use MS-SQL instead of My-SQL.
    Please help!!

    That’s a 6 year old topic (which I remember too, scary) and I don’t recommend that you take that thread too seriously as much has changed in 6 years.

    Necessary Requirement: We have to use MS-SQL instead of My-SQL.

    Don’t use WordPress? I know that is a odd response coming from a WordPress moderator but the requirements to run WordPress but mysql is a hard requirement.

    I do not doubt that you can get it working with MS SQL but you’ll have a completely unsupportable configuration and it will break when WordPress updates.

    Anyone have any reference tutorial or thread, from where I can learn and implement, how can I use MS-SQL in WordPress?
