   I am trying to add posts via metaweblog.newPost with subcategories as IDs. The reason being is that I have duplicate subcategory names. I can't just add a category as "Videos" when I need it to be under a specific parent. Specifying the ID however, would obvi work, if only I could do that...

   So I found this in the Trac http://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/16003

   Seems there is a feature already in the works for such a purpose. I built my code around it and I find out it's not coming for many a year. :(

   I tried checking the .diff and adding the changes to the wp-includes/class-wp-xmlrpc-server.php, sadly without any progress gained...
