Uncheck threaded comments in Settings > Discussion should remove the reply links.
I really want to get rid of the comments/reply boxes on every page, I have gone to discussions and unchecked every box, as well as screen options unchecked the comments, but it is still there how do you get rid of these annoying boxes, I hope someone has an easy solution, thank-you for any help you can give me

I just installed a new WordPress blog using one of the included themes, Journalist 1.3. After every comment, there is a “reply” link, which I’d really like to remove. I am not looking to remove the ability to add new responses to a blog entry, I’m just wishing to remove the excessive “reply” links after every single comment (wasted space and looks unattractive!) I have no idea where to do this, however. Any hints? I think this is unique to this particular theme, but unsure. Also note that although knowledgeable in html/css, my php understanding is minimal.
