Skearyi hope the topic was probably pretty self-explanatory.. i want to move several of the categories from an existing wp installation to a new one.
I tried the mass post plugin after importing the old content via the built-in import/export thing in wp, but when installed it gave me an empty box instead of a list of categories.
Allegedly the now-part-of-wordpress export/import plug-in includes the ability to select//exclude categories at some stage of the game, but i never got the option, even after installing the version from the link above (doing that didn't seem to have any effect).
Does anyone have any ideas what I might do?
