   How do I remove this please?

   See under the green bar on my blog, the pages appear. I have 24 pages so you can see it does not work.

   Would you know how I can remove the page links at the top?

   What theme are you using? Otherwise I'd be guessing here so here goes - in header.php of your theme, delete the template tag wp_list_pages or wp_page_menu with opening <div> and closing </div> tags

   I found it in the header.php
   I commented out
   <div id="submenu-bg">
