   I am updating my organization's website (http://www.hoosieripl.org/) and I need to delete the story on the righthand side of the page (Inspiring Creation Care Across Indiana). It is not a post or a category (I know how to delete those) nor is it a page. How do I get rid of it?

   I didn't create this webpage, just inherited it's maintenance from someone else, and I am new to using Word Press.

   it is a textwidget - you should be able to find it under 'dashboard' 'appearance' 'widgets' in the widget area on the right.
