   I have a blog that is on my main domain and I want to add the excerpt from the blog to appear nce posted onto my html home page. Can anyone tell me how to do this please?

   If your home page really is built just with HTML, it's going to be kind of difficult to include any external information in it. More than likely, you will need to use JavaScript to retrieve information from WordPress and add it to the page after the page is loaded.
