I would appreciate if this theme can work without using custom fields. Most of the new users and many old ones use wp 2.9 which has a functionality to display post thumbnails. Can you help in providing a work around so that I can use this theme on my existing website which has images but no custom fields.

Posted 2 years ago #As I've mentioned before, this is not very user friendly for all the users using wp 2.8 and earlier.
In further versions of WP-Creativix we will include that feature, but for now, you could enable it by yourself with some knowledges in PHP and CSS.
Otherwise use this plugin (WP-Post-Gallery) it is easier to implement within the theme.Cheers
