   I'm building a website that needs to have 3 or 4 columns on the home page, and 2 columns on the inside pages.

   Basically what I need to know is... can I design my site as I normally would and then integrate it w/ WP so my client can edit all of the content?

   I've blocked this weekend out to research WP & start the install process. But if I can get a quick nod on this I would appreciate your help.

   In theory, yes. http://codex.wordpress.org/Theme_Development
   should give you a good starting point. Once you've got the basic theme anatomy sorted, you can pretty much turn any design into a WP theme.

   is also a good page to bookmark for reference purposes.
