Need search engines not index old posts – NOindex problem

    I used to post through autoblogging on one of my blogs.
    Now I have stopped this practice and need search engines not index all the old posts posted with autoblogging (posted until a certain date).

    What is the best solution?
    1. 301 redirect? how to set it up for posts until a certain date?
    2. Noindex Nofollow Meta Robots tags? (again, how to set up for posts until a certain date ?)

    I’d prefer making the job without installing any plugins.
