Support » Plugins » Need plugin to connect fields in WP dashboard with areas in template

  • Will try to explain this in more detail: The home page of the site in question has a fairly complex image rollover which is all embedded in the template for that page using straight HTML, and not editable at all through the WordPress dasboard. But I’d like for the client to be able to edit some of the links without having to deal with, and possibly break, the HTML code.

So I envision a setup where I have a few areas within the template that are connected to fields that they can edit within WordPress. So they could go to this field, change the link and it would update in the code.

Is there a plugin that would make this possible? I see plugins that allow for shortcodes in a page or post that corresponds to an HTML snippet, which is close, but I need a code that I can plug right into my template, not a WP shortcode.

    Any ideas?
