   Or ANY pinging service (pingoat, pingomatic, etc.). I'm working on a service which requires a function like pingoat, which RECEIVES pings instead of sending them.

   That part I got fine, what I need to nail down is the name of the "methodName" is. It seems the one WP sends out is "weblogUpdates.ping", is this right? Is this what other blog programs (Nucleus, MT, etc.) send out as well?
