   What I would like to do is offer users a free blog and on that blog there will be ads the ad code will be embedded in the themes.

   What I would like to know is can I install the theme twice in the same wp3.0 network install. the second theme will not have the embedded code
   so when a user pays for the upgrade they would tell me what theme they are using and in the Super Admin -> Sites section of the site I would click on the non ad theme that will have another plug ins ad code so they can use there own ads on the site and not have my ads shown.

   How would I get this to work and what do I need to do to defenestrate between the two themes.

   I came up with this because i searched High and Low for a free plugin that would turn on or off a plugins by individual users(sites)and couldn't find one
   (I think this should be a standard feature in the core but that's for another thread.)
   If anyone could point me in the correct direction i would be very happy.

   well, to be able to use two of the same theme, just make a copy of the theme, and change the name of the folder, and the name of the theme in style.css

   like
   copy 1. mytheme
   copy 2. mythemeAds

   keeps it easy to distinguish
