I downloaded a few holiday icons from the Mashable web site and want to install them on my WP blog. I tried to activate them but get a message saying there is no header for the icon. Any ideas?

I don't quite understand your explanation, can you elaborate your full explanation?
I tought you were talking about favicon or navigation...
