   Hello everyone,

   I have just got wordpress installed on two of my domains and have also purchased a blog website design template and have all the files with me. this new template is just xhtml and CSS template

   I need to install/upload this new template on the domain with wordpress so that its look more like what I want.

   Can someone please suggest me a way to do it which doesn't disturb the existing wordpress installation on the website.

   Also, will the installed plugins work after the new template is installed.

   The domain is bestseosservice.com.

   All our help is really appreciated.

   You can't use an xhtml/css template in WordPress. You need to turn it into a WordPress theme.

   Thanks for your help. I downloaded a wordpress theme this time, not a website design template and here is the error that i get:

   Please guide me what to do.

   That's either a broken theme or you didn't upload it correctly. Try one of the themes from the Theme Directory.
