   I tried to make some changes in the code to my functions.php file, but it didn't work as planned. After I removed the code that I added, I suddenly got this error message:

   Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/username/public_html/wp-content/themes/jillij-double/functions.php on line 5

   Here is the pastebin of my functions.php file as it looks now:

   What did I do wrong? How can I resolve this situation?

   upload a fresh copy of the theme's functions.php from the theme zip
   back up before applying changes
