So I was working for a website on wordpress a week ago and two of my old friends (old as in I dont talk to them because they are assholes) decided to come leave hateful and abusive comments on the website. Since as of last week I no longer work for the website I cant recover the comments.

Last night the two ex friends contacted me on tumblr so I in turn called the police. They told me I need the comments to print out with all the info on them.

I contacted the site owner to attempt to get the comments emailed to me. He wont respond to me and wont answer my calls. Is there a way for me to get them from someone at wordpress?

WordPress is only free software - we have no control over what someone does with it, sorry.

I thought wordpress is the host of the site...or is it just a development tool?

If your hosting providers are WordPress, contact WordPress.com for support.

That is why I came here. I dont have a direct way to contact wordpress...and they dont have a specific way to contact them. I have nothing to do with the website anymore so I cant contact them from the site itself as well.

If the login you have been using works at http://wordpress.com/, that site is hosted there. (No sites are hosted here at wordpress.org).

@Gadred - the site you are concerned about is simply using WordPress software on a self-hosted site (the owners host the site on a server someplace totally unrelated to WordPress) - it is not hosted on WordPress.COM - as you can see here:

    http://www.whois.com/whois/linkdeadgaming.com

For self-hosted WordPress sites, WordPress has no control over how someone uses the software - it's free, open-source software. Sorry we cannot be of more help.
