   I have been editing this theme over the weeks with little knowledge of what I am doing.

   I want to add a blog page which i have called: http://www.jamielangridge.co.uk/test-page

   Could someone tell me how i get rid of that picture so it is the same as all my other pages? I do not have the ability to make a child theme as someone else suggested..

   Anyone out there able to help me?

   the posts page is displayed by index.php of your theme;

   edit index.php and remove:

   <div id="slideshow"></div>
