• I’ve deleted and reinstalled a fresh copy of WP 2.9.1 to my server. When I use the add image button while writing a post, I get the error message:

The uploaded file could not be moved to E:\plusmodels.com\dongarbercom\blog/wp-content/uploads.

I’ve gone through and done all of the chmod 755/766/767/777 and all that. No avail. Not able to upload images through WP.

Okay, and full disclosure, about two weeks ago I noticed that the effing Turkish Hacker, Hacked By Cyb3rking. Seriously, I run a stupid motorcycle website and my own semi-professional blog about actionscript. This effer has nothing better to do?
Anyway, I don’t know if that had something to do with my ongoing problems or not.

    thanks all

  • I have the same problem!

However I updated, and I’ve moved my blog over to a new hosting service.

But everything else about my blog works, just this! I can put my photo directly into the folder via ftp, but then it’s not in my media library.

    Hoping there’s a solution!
