need help with ‘Category page’ plugin

    Hi,
    I have installed this wonderful theme and dont want anything else.
    But I have a problem here with Category page plugin.
    In the instalation file it says I need to tweak the theme file, but since I am not a coder, o dont find a way.

    In http://pixline.net/2008/04/category-page-25-howto-2/en/ it is explained that I have to change some line in archive.php file. but in this theme everything is in functions.php and that is just too much for my little brain.
    Would someone help me out with this, please?

    The other question is about category description, which this theme doesnt display. How could I get them displayed?

    Might use this instead and can just use a shortcode in your page where you put your category description:
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/list-category-posts/

    Thank you. But the problem is that this theme uses different color schemes for every top page (including subpages) and every post cathegory.
    And my purpose is to combine some cathegories with some pages to use the same color scheme.

    Sorry, don’t understand how that would preclude using list-category-posts, which doesn’t require a template modification. And if necessary you can still use separate Page Templates for your pages.

    the main problem is that categories and pages use different color schemes.

    For instance, I have a page “Carambole” and I also have a categorie Carambole, but they are of different color schemes

    I want the Category to display the page first of all, and then all the posts in that categorie, thus, having them in one color.

    But it seems forst of all that the Categorie Page addon is somehow faulted 🙁
