Need help with an additional loop who targets specific child categories…

Need some help here, I’ve got this page on a blog ( http://www.lindasturesson.com/ny/?page_id=18 ) that has a theme that will run an additional loop and get posts from a certain hidden cat. My problem is that, when you press textil or prylar in the sidebar, it will bring you to the category, which it’s supposed to, but will also show time of the entry and a link that will let you look at comments and post your own comments. I want to remove that.

So I guess I need to make another copy of the loop and make it get specific child categories, based on the parent.

Maybe I’m making it harder than it is, but that’s the solution I can think of now. And I don’t have any php skills 🙁
