I have the template "elegant grunge" and am attempting to upload a custom header. I have followed the instructions on wp forums on installing it through header.php or styles.css. In both cases, when I go to save the text changes, it gives me an error message saying "Cannot create the C:/Users/Smith/AppData/Local/Temp/style-2.css file. Make sure the path and filename are correct."
Any suggestions? Or am I going about this all wrong. I have uploaded my header image to the "elegant grunge" theme folder as well.

I am no tech junkie and have only been using a computer for a few months but.......here's what i did: In photoshop I changed an image from my file to 802x170 pixels, then I added some text onto the image in photoshop as well. Then I loaded the image into my admin under media files. When I open the media file and copied the location of it and then went to header in elegant grunge and pasted it....vwala.

If you want to declare a dynamic header for every post you want, you can use the plugin "dynamic-header". Works with the latest version 2.9.2. I'm using it, and it's the best plugin for manipulate the header!
