I bought the Lifeline theme and have dropped it in and now I have hit a bump in the road.

The mainpage still says "thank you for purchasing"....how do I remove that page? I see the coding is in the index.php file; do I go in there, delete the code, and then hit the 'update file' button? I want my own blog page to be the page that shows first automatically, not this mainpage.

Second, with this theme you have four color options. I'm not really a fan of any of them however. Is there a way to change the color?

Also with color, does anyone know if there is an easy way to change the background color? In my head I see the site with a colored background and white boxes that have the text/content, but not sure if that is possible with this theme.

Finally, I'm having issues with the footer widgets. If you look at the theme demo (blog) page (I'll post link at end of post),at the bottom, it has it divided in three side-by-side panels. I've dropped in my widgets, but they want to go one on top of the other. Example: my Contact Form is below the Recent Posts, all pushed over to the left side of the footer. On the demo page it is side-by-side and that is what I am going for...just not sure why it's not working for me.

I'm a WP newbie, first time to the forum as well, so hopefully someone can guide me in the right direction. Thanks for looking!

as this appears to be a commercial theme, you need to contact the theme's vendors.
