Need help to create rule directly in database (1 post)

Not the plugin's fault, but I set up a rule to redirect /(.*)\.php$ to /$1/ which works great for redirecting content I had from my old static website, but now means I cannot log in to WordPress Admin as wp-login.php is in the root folder and is redirecting to /wp-login/

I've tried setting up another rule in the database to redirect /wp-login/ back to /wp-login.php, adding it in position after the regex rule. And also adding a redirect from /wp-login.php to itself (infinite loop, obviously).

Reading the documentation, it seems like I should be adding a either a "do nothing" or a "do something when not logged in"? I've just installed the plugin and am not familiar with what values the database takes. Can anyone tell me how to set up this rule directly in the database?
