    I need help removing the posted date, time, posted by, and posted in. I'm very new to this but I've made a child's theme using Twenty Eleven. I only have the style.ccs on the child theme with just the code to make it work. i don't know what to do now. Like I said i'm very new and I've been looking at other things that people have put up about this same problem but i cant get it to work.

    /*
    Theme Name: Twenty Eleven Child
    Theme URI: http://example.com/
    Description: Child theme for the Twenty Eleven theme
    Author: DANEJAH
    Author URI: http://example.com/about/
    Template: twentyeleven
    Version: 0.1.0
    */

    @import url("../twentyeleven/style.css");

    This is the code i have in the child's theme in the style.ccs file this is the only file i have in the child's theme. Hope some one can help me. Thanks

    In your Child Theme's stylesheet, add this (below the import);

    .entry-meta {
     display: none;
    }

    It worked thank you so much. I've been trying to do this for like a week. I wanted to know if you know of some site that can teach more about coding. I don't know any thing about it and I would like to be able to make a custom page one day.

    If you want to learn more HTML and CSS - this is a good site:

    http://www.w3schools.com/

    For WP, the Codex has tons of info, but some of it is pretty geeky:

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page

    There's also lots of good tutorials about both out there online, YouTube videos, in books and even classes -- so google around to find more.

    Another really great tool, especially for CSS stuff like this question, is Firebug -- an addon for Firefox. They have good info on their site as well.
