   I need your help. I wanted a “Recent Posts” in the Sidebar. I tried the Widget that came with Thesis and it would show a long list of “Excerpts”, when all I wanted was the Titles of the last 10 Posts.

   I downloaded Recent Posts 1.1.3 and it worked as I wanted but it wiped out the 3 Posts at Footer and it Shows an error message embedded at the bottom of the Home Page.

   The Error Message is...

   “Fatal error: Call to undefined function recent_posts() in /home6/apmnewso/public_html/wp-content/themes/thesis_16/custom/custom_functions.php on line 9”

   It sounds like Recent Posts 1.1.3 is incompatible with Thesis. Have you tried using the native Recent Posts widget in Admin/Appearance/Widgets?

   Hi. Thanks for the reply...at this point, I would happy just to get back to original page w/o the recent posts function ( i disabled this and it still did not help) Any ideas on what I can do to get back, w/o Fatal Error Message? I cannot even find the file!

   Have you tried resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
