You should start by giving us more information. What version of WordPress did you install? Did you receive any error messages? What exactly do you mean by “it is not installing properly”?
The version I installed is 1.2.1. I did not receive any error messages. This is the page that should be showing my blog:

What that shows is the part that should be in the Blogger template. Did you put it in the Blogger template or the WordPress template?
I put that in the Blogger template.
Did you republish the whole blog or just the index?
What happened when you ran /wp-admin/import-blogger.php ?
I need help. i uploaded but it didn’t run. I have the latest versin I think. Went to this site to download. The note pad on my c: drive- that’s where I installed says 2.0?

greystonegirl16> You seem to have put the whole Blooger template including the Blogger tags in your WP template. Blogger and WP has different template structures, hence you cannot use Blogger template in place of WP. I suggest that you get the original index.php from the .zip or .tar.gz file and upload it. You will be shown a default template. You can then edit the CSS or the PHP directly later to match your Blogger template.

I didn’t touch the WP template, I was scared to, LOL! I’ll try uploading the original and see what happens . . .
OK, I uploaded the original index.php file and nothing changed . . .
