Need help - How to move date from above to below the post (3 posts)

    Hi,
    If you look at the blog I'm trying to put together you'll see for each post theres a title - then a gray line below the title and then the date/category below that and then the content of the post below that.

    All I want to do is move the gray line (and the date/category/# of comments below it) below the content of each post ( I guess this would be called the post footer area).

    Is this something I would do in the loop file? and if so,
    what code would I move and where?

    thanks in advance for any help.

    that code is probably in a couple places in your theme templates

    such as
    yourtheme/index.php
    category.php
    and your Single Post template

    Read through the code (I know you won't recognize everything, but look for the section of code that seems related, for example you'll probably find code that mentions "comment" and "date" and "category" all nearby each other)

    make a back-up before trying any changes

    try to identify the whole block of code for that line, it is probably inside some div tags like this

    <div="something">
    a few lines of code mentioning "comment" and "date" and "category"
    </div>

    copy-paste that section of code. Copy it where it is, paste it a little further down

    refresh the theme, if it didn't work restore your back-up and try again

    Hope this helps
