Need Help Determining What Theme to Select

    Hi,
    I am very new to this and am creating my first site. I viewed some sites in the Showcase area and found a site I would like to model mine after. The site is CBS New York (newyork.cbslocal.com). Is there anyway I can find out what Theme was used to create this site? Because that is the Theme I would like to use to create my site.

    as the theme is called’cbs-local’ it looks like that would be a custom theme built specifically for that site, so not available for public use. Search for magazine themes for something similar.

    Hi,
    That site is hosted by WordPress VIP, which is a paid version of WordPress for sites with very heavy traffic. So you almost certainly won’t find that theme as a freebie. In fact, it’s probably a custom theme made solely for CBS, and if that’s true, you couldn’t use it even if you fork over the serious cash to be hosted at WordPress VIP.

    That’s a very complicated theme, btw. News themes always are. If this is going to be your first site, and you’re looking to make something that complicated, unless you have serious tech skills, you may be in for some grief.
