In the homepage featured posts section, its supposed to show a thumbnail image and the text for that post. However, it is showing some weird text that I can't seem to get rid of. It is also showing 3 posts and I only have 2 in that category. The website I am working on is http://tvallenproperties.com/

Try editing that post and writing a custom excerpt in the Optional Excerpt box. Right now, the fact that you have a gallery inserted within the 55 word excerpt is causing the gallery CSS code to be out onto your front page. A custom excerpt should sidestep this problem.

Could someone assist me in getting my wordpress site to display properly on my homepage "featured posts" section. The site is: http://www.313realestate.com/blog
I cannot find any tutorials anywhere on how to get three or more "different" property listings or posts to show on my home page. I get the same listing or posts repeating themselves three times.
Can someone out the there show me how to fix this?

If you use the plugin: Featured Content Gallery you should be able to feature as many posts as you want.
