Hi friends,
I am very new to this.
Me and one of my friends want to create a web-site using word press.
I have windows 7 PC at my home
And my friend use Apple MAC PC at his home
We both have an idea in our mind and wanted to create a web-site from two different locations.
My doubt is : sitting in diff location can we create one web-site?
can we access single Dashboard and make changes from diff location
is that possible ?
For example :
I created first page (home)
He created second page(About Us)
can this be done using single server, by sitting in two diff host machines....
Yes, install wp. One of you will be the admin. The admin can create another user with admin privileges. Then you both will have the same access.

Yes Definitely - wordpress makes all that easy because you don't really edit it on your pc - you edit your pages directly in wordpress online.
Like Kmessinger says you can each have an account within wordpress so you can both be logged in and working at the same time. Though I wouldn't recommend working on the same page at the same time.
It's all web based so as long as you each have access to the internet, it doesn't matter if your on a mac or pc. You use your preferred browser to login to the wordpress site and you can both be editing.
I'm just curious - What do you want your website to do for you?

Firstly sorry for the delay in response. and thank you for valuable information friends, My problem has been resolved.
and Joseph, I am storage consultant and I am planning to start online storage classes using my first website.
