• I’m extremely new to wordpress. I’ve been playing around with it since yesterday. I made a post today and I did a test comment and under the comment it has tomorrows date and the wrong time. I’m on eastern time and I want to know how would I change the time and date. I noticed there was some kind of documentation but it looked like chinese to me. Any help would be appreciated.

Grr..I’m also new to the forum. I messed around and made another post. Bear with me.

The server with your site on could be on the other side of the country ? Change the offset time on the first Options page:

Times in the weblog should differ by:

No change. I see in one box it has Default Date Format: F j, Y
    Output: June 25, 2005 (tomorrow’s date)

And another box that says Default time format: g:i a
    Output:6:56 am

I can live with the time being wrong but is there a code I can use so it will recognize I’m on the east coast?

Look just above that. Mine has:
UTC time is: 2005-06-24 9:00:49 pm
Times in the weblog should differ by: hours

Ok, I have it now. I also just saw where you can change the date and time when you edit.

    I have alot to learn.
