Hi,

I am making a blog that will contain tutorials on various things regarding web development. The information will be mainly about PHP, HTML and MySQL. What I need is to be able to show example code (PHP, HTML, etc) in a specially formatted way.

Take a look at this post:
    http://www.daniweb.com/forums/thread162818.html
and click on 'Help with Code Tags'.

How can I add this functionality. I want to be able to write

or something similar to this in posts that I do. I want the
sections to be formatted/highlighted like in the example above.

    Can anybody help me?

look at those. I personally use code shield only as I don't use any syntax highlighting.SyntaxHighighter Plus reads like it might be a good addition.
