Need help adding a disclaimer box to my sidebar

    Hi there,

    I have just started a blog at http://www.goodnewsgossip.com. I’d like to add a disclaimer box to my sidebar the states that the views expressed on this blog are my personal opinion and do not necessarily reflect the views of my employer.

    How would I add such a box to my sidebar?

    If the theme has widgets enabled you can just use the “text widget” to add the disclaimer to the sidebar.

    Hi. I’m a very new blogger and I have no idea what most of it means.

    I too want to add a disclaimer to my sidebar. I see that I have the text widget option someone mentioned above and wordpress tells me to drag it into a sidebar to add it to the posts — but it doesn’t show up anywhere when I preview.

    Can anyone explain this carefully to me? (Or is this a problem where the theme doesn’t support widgets? How would I know if it did?)
