I have a button I want to give my readers to post on their site that will link back to me. How can I create a page that has a form with the button code in it so a user can just copy and paste the code to their own site?

Create a Page Template for this page. On that template, create a textarea with the code in it. Use that template for your Page.

Is there not a plugin that will do this for me? I don’t know how to do all of that.

It’s always good to learn. Did you try actually reading the link I posted above?

Was that supposed to be funny? Yes I did go to the link, but I don’t know how to do any coding. Did you see my last response? I asked to see if there was a plugin that would do this. Obviously, if I could or wanted to do the coding I wouldn’t have asked for a plugin. I don’t do much coding and I don’t know how to make a text box area to put the button information into. The level of which I choose to learn is up to myself and my time limitations. If you didn’t know of a plugin that could do this, then you could have just said, “no.” I really didn’t need a smart answer with a link to a picture that won’t help me.

So can you point me to a place that will specifically show me how to do that or should I just go back and look at your picture and somehow the answer will come to me in a dream?

Assuming you know how to create a page, since you have looked at the link that otto provided.. what youre asking is found in more places that one can imagine.

Look at the source of the pages that are doing it. Its NOT that difficult, a matter of copying and pasting. The “show” you quite clearly how it is done.

Thank you whooami, that’s exactly what I needed. I have follow your suggestion and now have a way to fix my issue. I am eternally grateful. I consider this matter closed.
