   I have a Blog http://mbalogy.com

   I had update it from version 3.01 to 3.1.1 by automatic update. However it failed.

   I tried manually, uploaded all necessary files and went to URL, http://mbalogy.com/wp-admin/upgrade.php it says no update required, database is up to date.

   When I log-in into admin panel it is asking for update from current version to 3.1.1. Now checked on dashboard it is still showing the old verion and also in the page source of the post or articles. I have already deleted .maintenance

   Please let me know how to resolve this problem.

   Step followed in manual update
   1. disabled plugin
   2. replaced wp-admin and include folder.
   3. uploaded new index file in wp-content folder
   4. uploaded root files

   Try:
   - switching to the Twenty Ten theme by renaming your current theme's folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

   - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

   - re-uploading all files & folders - except the wp-content folder - from a fresh download of WordPress.

   - re-running the upgrade manually using wp-admin/upgrade.php.

   I have access to the Admin area.

   When i tried to access wp-admin/upgrade.php it says database it up to date.
