    I have my title all set for posts and categories but for the main page there are no H1 tags and I am lost.

    The site I need help with is http://www.lasvegasworldnews.com

    How do I make the blog title an H1

    I know that i have to wrap it <h1)title<h1> but I don't know what template to use. Is it in the header?

    Can someone please look and help me>

    Your site has an image as the header -- that's where an h1 blog or site title would generally go - so where are you trying to put a blog title?

    But yes, something like that would go in the header.php file. If you need specific help, you may need to go to the theme developer here:

    Thanks. I am not so good at coding and I tried to enclose the blog title in H1 tags but that didn't work. For SEO purposes, I am not showing any H1 tags on the home page and I was trying to correct that.

    It's a free theme so there is no support. Any other suggestions about something I can read and learn so I can modify somehow?
    I saw this in the header and was wondering if I could modify it

    <div class="blogtitle" ><a>/">
          <?php bloginfo('name'); ?>
          </a></div>
    I did try but no avail
    or this

      if (prinz_get_option('prinz_logo')) { ?>
        <a>/"><img style="border:none;padding:0;" src="<?php header_image(); ?>" width="<?php echo HEADER_IMAGE_WIDTH; ?>" height="<?php echo HEADER_IMAGE_HEIGHT; ?>" alt="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> - <?php bloginfo('description'); ?>" title="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> - <?php bloginfo('description'); ?>" border="none" /></a>
        <?php } else { ?>

    [review http://codex.wordpress.org/Forum_Welcome#Posting_Code for posting code - the above code is broken]

    I'd actually recommend finding a theme that has better SEO built in and that is supported here. There are lots of really great free themes here:
