    When my site, tiny-picture.com, is resized in a browser, everything but the background resizes. I would like the background to resize in proportion to everything else.

    I know there are a lot of how to's out there and this subject comes up a lot, but I've spent the day trying several solutions, and can't seem to make anything work.

    Currently, the background is in the style.css body tag:

    body {
    	background-image:
    	url(images/background.png);
    	background-repeat: repeat-y;
    	background-position: center top;
    	position: relative;
    }

    My whole style.css is at http://pastebin.com/m6dUanqZ

    Please help!

    Thanks, Shelly. I looked at this, but my image isn't a full screen one. After looking at it, I didn't think it would really work.

    Any other suggestions?

    Oh, I see - you're looking for a responsive type thing. (you're talking about the hand, right?)

    Same site, different tutorials.

    Thanks. Actually it is the two column image in the background that is giving me grief. The hand works just fine. When I enlarge the screen however, the background two colors eventually cease to act as background. Everything else seems to resize fine.

    Okay...so I moved my background image css from the body tag to the wrapper tag. I think that did the trick.
