I'm not quite certain on where to put this so I figured this may be a good section to place my query and I hope you guys can help me out.
I'm planning to start a new (another) site as a personal project and I'm curious if WordPress is the right CMS to use for my needs, and if so, I'd like to know if there are existing themes and plug-ins that can help me achieve my plans.
I want to create a site that contains a series of pre-determined topics and have users freely sign-up and submit their own opinions about the topic.
Basically, there will be a top-level category, then within the categories there will be individual topics asking people for their opinions and reviews.
Their comments will follow a pre-determined input form so everyone will follow relatively the same format, therefore, a simple commenting system won't be ideal in this case.
For example, this link about the iPhone http://bit.ly/lTe2IW, the visitor can read the 'reviews' of the product, as well as write their own review as well, following the same format each and every time.
Can WordPress do this or am I asking for too much?
I already have a couple of sites running WP, but they're blog-based (http://reviews.davidleetong.com) and all content are generated by the admin (me) only.
