   I want to install Askimet on my blog for comment spam. It requires an API key, but I dont know where to find mine. I've followed all the instructions. One set of instructions said it would be mailed to me, but I've not received a WordPress email with an API key. Another said to go to my WordPress account and it would be in the "paragraph" in the upper right corner. Well, when I click on "My Account," it takes me straight to my user profile, and nowhere can I find the key.

   Has something changed since the Askimet instructions were written? Or am I just missing something terribly obvious?

   You get your API key from your WordPress.com Profile:

   https://yourusername.wordpress.com/wp-admin/profile.php
