Need an uncluttered them with advertsising space

I have to set up a community website, carrying local events, basic contact information and some news. The requirement is that we allow advertising space for local businesses as we have to fund the site from ads. I am currently ‘messing around’ with 20-10 and it looks great.
I need a clean style – like 20-10 – but I have to carry ads

Any advice, pointers to stylers that fit the bill – to this green horn – always appreciated
