I need some advice on how to get a lightbox effect as easy as possible for photos that are uploaded.

The scenario is that I’m setting up a family blog and since some of the family isn’t very “fluent” in how to upload/insert photos I want to make this as simple as possible. Ideally the users should be able to upload a photo, insert it into the post and it would get a lightbox effect without any extra actions.

    How can I do this?

  • with Lightbox Plugin. Search it on google

I use WP-Slimbox2 plugin for quite a while now. You can see it in action on my website.

I thought I could use the Lightbox 2 plugin (that was the first I tried) … but it turned out that I couldn’t … well, after experimenting a bit it turned out that it was me that I didn’t understand things correctly (I personally use SmugMug and Flickr for storing photos and then use custom tags to display the whole thing).

I also found Lightbox Plus that does almost exactly what I want.

So I’m playing with these two and the slimbox thing to see which one that is easiest to use on the site.
