Need Advice on a new installation

    Hi all Tech Gurus!

    I’m familiar with WP in general but I need to try something new.

    I would like to deploy a WP installation on my Local Server as an Intranet.

    The server is a Windows Server 2008 64-bits and SQL Server 2008 R2 64-bit is installed.

    The server is used as a DB Server for a software deployed on the network.

    I would like to install WP there, using it for my workstations on the network, while making sure I do not mess up the present server configuration.

    Any ideas where I should start?
