    Dear all!

    Apologies this is probably very basic knowledge but I can't get my head around it. I'm using weaver to make a site. Used

    .page .entry-title{display:none;}

    Now someone has informed me when you click and view source, the

    <title></title>

    is empty and will bugger me from SEO aspects. Is this correct as I was under the impression that my page titles were being used instead of the site title, to ensure each page was relevant. Would appreciate any advice. Slightly curious if my page title should be within the <title> ? when you view source.

    website = http://www.go2osteopaths.com

    Many thanks, I appreciate it's probably as simple as 2+2, but I can't come to a conclusion on my own!

    Your homepage title tag is empty (other pages have them) but that has nothing to do with:

    .page .entry-title{display:none;}

    CSS does not affect the <title> tag.

    oh, assumed it was. As I have a title within wordpress settings inserted. Any ideas why the <title> tag is blank when I have a title inserted within the wordpress settings?

    Unless you're using an SEO plug-in the homepage title is usually pulled from Settings > Site Title. I'd check there first.
