Need Admin Manage hack for “View by Categories”

    Okay, I poked and prodded but I don’t know enough yet about PHP and databases. I am totally DESPERATE to have some kind of hack or add-on, plugin, straight code, anything I can add to the Manage Posts admin panel that will allow me to sort/limit posts by categories.

    The date is ridiculous for my uses as I couldn’t remember when I posted breakfast let along dinner. Since I write about pretty much the same stuff, the search doesn’t bring up enough specifics to get me to what I’m looking for without coming up with a ton of words to narrow it down.

    I’ve been trying to figure this out and live without it for months and I just finished six searches to find one post which I could have found in SECONDS if I had a Category pull down menu….

    I rarely beg but I’m begging now!

    Begging noted… I’ll keep it in the back of my mind. I’ve been wanting to improve the lackluster Posts management page with some features like I did for the comments, and that’s one of them. Now to just find some time ;).

    Alrighty guys, I have a sneak peek of the plugin up. If you wouldn’t mind providing suggestions in terms of needed additional features or usability I’d be much obliged.
