[resolved] Need a Very Specific Color For My Background (5 posts)

    I wanted to use the color that is in my current banner for my background as well for my blog http://johnsontranscript.com/

    Any idea how I can get the exact color for it? I'm sure WordPress has a color code for it because it is the exact same color as the "Leave a Comment" text on the site. However, I just don't know what the color code is.

    the 'Leave a Comment' text is colour: #36BCAB

    You can use firebug (Firefox) or the developer tools in chrome or safari etc to check the colours or any applied CSS on the page.

    If you wanted the exact colour from the image, you can open the image in photoshop or probably any other image editing software and use the eyedropper tool

    Firefox has an add-on called colorzilla -- that does exactly what photoshop tools can do:
